Questo giovane Pinguino l'ho fotografato sulla spiaggia vicino agli imbarchi per visitare le isole Ballestas nella Riserva Nazionale di Paracas. Passeggiavo sulla spiaggia con la mia attrezzatura fotografica, mi sono girato verso l'acqua ed ho visto lui, un giovane di Pinguino che si era perso ed era approdato proprio dove mi trovavo io, probabilmente proveniva dalle isole Ballestas che si trovano a qualche miglio dalla costa. Ho atteso che uscisse dall'acqua, era stanchissimo, ho scattato freneticamente ero molto emozionato per l'evento che stavo vivendo in quel momento. Ho chiamato gli addetti responsabili che sono immediatamente arrivati con un ornitologo per prendere il disperso e riaccompagnarlo sulle isole. Questi Pinguini sono piuttosto minacciati e considerati ad oggi (Vulnerabili)
