Ho provato ad allontanarmi per includere i cerchi interi, ma si perdeva a mio avviso quel senso di immersione e vicinanza, direi quasi empatia, che si ha con questa inquadratura. Così ho deciso per un “taglio simmetrico”, come ha osservato Massimiliano.
Riguardo al formato verticale, Simone ha capito quanto mi piace e quanto lo utilizzi nelle mie fotografie. Qui era complicato dal fatto che la macchina era a terra, ma non l'ho scelto per l'esatto motivo che ha indicato Viola: il taglio orizzontale rafforza il senso di oppressione e schiacciamento. Nella realtà l'installazione si trova in un famoso “vuoto” di Libeskin, dal soffitto altissimo; eppure si percepisce il senso di oppressione e compressione (i volti tagliati nell'acciaio sono difatti più bidimensionali che tridimensionali).
Il taglio orizzontale rafforzava meglio questo concetto, secondo me.
Mi fa piacere che la mia “interpretazione” sia piaciuta.
