Bomba di Lava nei pressi dei crateri del eruzione del 2001/2002. Le bombe vengono sparate durante un'eruzione vulcanica. Durante questo evento diversi frammenti di lava dotati di una specifica viscosità vengono espulsi dal vulcano. Prima di raggiungere il suolo si raffreddano fino a solidificarsi. Le bombe di lava possono essere scagliate a molti chilometri di distanza dal luogo dell'eruzione. Le dimensioni possono variare da piccoli sassi a bombe grandi quanto o più di una macchina arrivando a pesare anche diverse tonnellate. Per questo scatto ho fatto "nascondere" il mio compagno di viaggio dietro la bomba, tanto per darvi un idea delle dimensioni. In primo piano sulla sinistra uno dei crateri e sullo sfondo i Crateri di Sud-Est.
