As soon as I arrived in Burano I was impressed by the typical colors of the houses on the most well-known boulevards and canals but after touring far and wide the island I realized that the part of Burano that I liked the most was the less frequented one , especially the courtyards between the houses with the least flashy colors, have something that made me feel at home.
There are also signs of abandonment but luckily the island is still well alive with children going to school in the morning and people going to work.
