Domenica 2 giugno, sono in piazza Duomo mentre sfilano i cortei delle Forze Armate per una degna celebrazione della nostra festa della Repubblica. Finite le sfilate, cerco di uscire dalla calca e guadagnare i portici che portano alla galleria e incontro queste tre signore. Lo sapete, ormai mi conoscete, sono curiosa, vecchi postumi di un mestiere che ho tanto amato, mi fermo e chiedo come mai hanno il cappello con il simbolo dei carabinieri. La più anziana, mi dice: "Sono la vedova di un carabiniere. E' mancato l'anno scorso, e mi sembrava di fargli un torto. Lui a questa festa, alla sua divisa e alla sua arma ci teneva tantissimo. E allora, ricacciando indietro, lacrime e commozione, eccomi qui a rappresentarlo e a ricordarlo alla sua Italia". Giuro ragazzi, mi è venuta la pelle d'oca e solo per dignità, non ho palesato la mia commozione. Posto questa foto, che è solo un piccolo e trascurabile omaggio a quel carabiniere e a tutte le nostre forze armate. Dimenticavo anche le due signore più giovani, erano lì in rappresentanza rispettivamente di fratello e marito. Ecco l'Italia migliore. Commenti e critiche sempre molto gradite. Grazie
