Sono stato attratto dalla sequenza in crescendo delle dimensioni in altezza dei fabbricati, dai colori delle facciate e dal loro stato di conservazione, colpito nel vedere questa serie di "villette a schiera" ante litteram, in cui ogni nuova costruzione cercava di sopravanzare in altezza la precedente seppur leggermente e di differenziarsi anche di poco nella struttura, pur mantenendo una certa omogeneità. Il tempo lascia inevitabilmente i segni del suo trascorrere, i colori sbiadiscono, l'intonaco si screpola, il legno delle finestre si inscurisce e tutto questo per i proprietari diventa un problema, mentre per il fotografo di passaggio diventa una gradevole tavolozza da riprendere con la propria fotocamera.
