Al Piano Nobile del Caffè Pedrocchi è possibile visitare il Museo del Risorgimento e dell'età contemporanea più noto semplicemente come Museo del Risorgimento di Padova. Una visita che permette di immergersi nella storia di Padova e allo stesso tempo d'Italia attraverso un percorso che va dalla caduta della Repubblica Veneta del 1797 alla promulgazione della Costituzione italiana del 1948. Visitare questo museo consente anche di visitare l'intero Piano Nobile dello storico Caffè Pedrocchi con le sue varie sale dedicate alle varie civiltà a rappresentare, nelle intenzioni dell'architetto Giuseppe Jappelli, un percorso iniziatico incentrato sulla simbologia massonica, facendo lui stesso parte della massoneria. Sono esposti cimeli, armi, uniformi, dipinti, sculture, manifesti, monete, medaglie, decorazioni e altro a documentazione di questo importante periodo della città di Padova. Divise militari, armi, foto dei patrioti di allora e illustrazioni accompagnano il visitatore poi verso la Grande Guerra e a quando Padova, dopo la rotta di Caporetto, divenne “capitale al fronte” fino all'Armistizio del 3 novembre 1918 firmato a Villa Giusti. Fra i vari cimeli della prima guerra mondiale, ecco la bicicletta con cui i soldati ed in particolare gli alpini si spostavano al fronte. Da quanto si apprende da informazioni del Museo della Bicicletta di Rovereto, pare che le bici di guerra fossero state offerte dalla Bianchi, azienda già famosa all'epoca.
