, 30 sec f/22.0, ISO 100, tripod.

Prove con i filtri ND... procedo per tentativi ma non mi sembra poi così semplice da usare. Dai tutorial che ho guardato sembra relativamente facile ma poi sul campo mi trovo sempre in difficoltà. Suggerimenti?

Hello Cristina seems to me that the effect obtained on the sky is excellent, perhaps you could emphasize even more in post. The uploaded file is small for a serious judgement, but at first glance it seems to me there is a slight shake due probably to a situation of not perfect stability on the tripod (or wind etc.....). Beware even the edges of the castle....... :-)

Dear Alexander, you have grasped some of my difficulties. Also in my opinion unfortunately there is some blur but I do not know how I could better the situation: I deactivated the stabilization of the lens, activated the remote shot... Some doubts about my mini tripod leaning on a rounded granite pylon: Maybe it was a little precarious and the wind did not help :-( I watch if other shots have come better.
Difficulty in more than hard to solve: the strong distortion due to the 10mm :-/
in Short, I love the long exposures but someone should teach me how to perform them correctly :-P
Thank You so much for the timely comment ;-)

I like the photo, I would suggest a conversion to B/N to emphasize the sky. The Micro moved perhaps for the little stable support in the presence of wind, but I do not see much distortion. I Also like the 10mm and maybe that's why I'm used to it...
Excuse me, I did not read Alchie's comment on the edges of the castle. Too close to the edge of the photo?

Cristina is much simpler than she seems. For The long exposures it is necessary to have absolute stability (so as to make advisable, if available, the preventive lifting of the mirror)..... Sometimes it's enough wind to make the shooting impossible. Of Course head and tripod stability are the absolute priorities.
Coming to the observation of Antonello I was referring to the left edge of the monument slightly cut.
To presto!

Antonello, thank you. I Had already attempted a conversion in BN: The sky in fact gains but the castle definitely no :-/
Alessandro, I'm pretty sure I have also activated the Live view: Raises the mirror then eliminates that vibration but I think the focus is never accurate (but maybe it's just my impression).
Confirm The cut of the edge due to the hacking carried out to eliminate the distortion caused by the short focal.
However not Demordo: Since I have a hard head I'll try other shots with the ND filters. For now I take notes and hope to not incur the same mistakes. ;-)
Thanks A lot for the advice :-P 8-)

Thanks to the answer's Archie.
With 10 mm to F22 you are in focus from 23 cm to infinity (http://dofmaster.com/dofjs.html), so it could be that the lens loses in definition with a aperture so small (and could be so seen the comments here on the forum). If you have a chance you can try in lower light conditions so that your 30 seconds get them with more open diaphragms.
The World at 10mm is fantastic!

Thanks for the new passage and the clarification Antonello: I have big technical gaps and I find very useful comments of this type!
I proposed today a new shot and it seems to me there is the problem of the blur. Unfortunately the diaphragm is always very closed (F22) :-/

I struggle to adapt to this lens, I seem to have gotten better shots with the 70/300, definitely another view of the world.

It will not be technically perfect, slightly cut even, but I like it, the effect arrives! Good!
