Happy for you and envious that I did not catch her. It will not be the most beautiful photo on the Aurora, but because it is a little ' the dream of all those who go to the North see; At least you have a good memory.
Hello and congratulations for the photos so far published.
Roberto. ;-)

To be your first aurora I'd say you handled it pretty well anyway. If I have to make a note I would maybe on the composition, given the horizon too central and so much part occupied by land that has no elements of real interest.
Anyway I understand well that when you see the first Aurora certainly is not going to think about the composition...
a greeting.

Thank you Guys :-D.
@Roberto, yes I remember you told me not to have caught :-/, sorry. It really takes so much luck, think that we were there 10 nights and the first 6 of Aurora Northern did not talk about it because of the weather.
Then We started to see her but she was always very weak and played in hiding behind the clouds.
The Ninth Night fortunately ideal conditions instead and Kp a bit + high have made sure that you return home with the smile :-).
Dai Take it cmq as a valid reason to go back (maybe for + days so they can increase the chances of catching it ;-))

To be the first I would say you handled it very well! Exposures is correct colors. At The compositional level I do not mind, the terrain contextualizing the environment visited and raising the frame would have noticed more distortion. I hope I'm as good as you when I go and photograph her. Congratulations!
Hello.
