Hello Aries. It 'a beautiful shot, full of meanings for my taste a little schiarirei' sculpture to see better soldiers, so the eye still run up the flags in the wind. This picture makes me remember the trip to Normandy and the anguish with which I have circled the landing beaches. Unfortunately the war I saw her ... Happy New Year, Gigi. Ciao Ariete. Buon anno, Gigi. |

Hello Luigi, thanks for the comment, and Happy New Year to you too.
The photo as you rightly pointed out, was taken to Utah Beach, the suggestion of those places is very strong even for those, like me, has never known the war firsthand.
The photos, the original was already very cloudy. I wanted to "represent" with a contrast much darker than the sky, almost like a silhouette, the two soldiers, and give the maximum brightness to the flags. A little bit of post production helped me to increase the contrast between the two areas. |
