Le nubi scendono, e la loro fitta coltre azzera la visibilità dei colossi montuosi che dominano la scena circostante. Andiamo a letto. Il pensiero di aver faticato e "portato a spasso" zaini pesanti per tutto il giorno, senza poter ammirare il cielo stellato, inizia ad insinuarsi... Ma la consapevolezza della possibilità di una repentina variazione delle condizioni meteo in alta quota, lascia una speranza per le ambizioni di uscita notturna. Ore 00:40.
