Le Cinque Torri, un piccolo complesso montuoso racchiuso nelle Dolomiti Ampezzane, è formato da 5 grossi massi distinti, da cui la location prende il nome, con un altitudine massima di 2361mt per quella più alta. Il luogo fu teatro di durissime battaglie fra le truppe Astro-Ungariche e quelle del Regio Esercito Italiano durante la prima #guerra mondiale! Ciò che colpisce di più di questo posto, infatti, sono le numerose testimonianze degli scontri bellici raccontate dalle #trincee erette proprio dalle truppe Italiane. Un paesaggio, quindi, anche ricco di #storia oltre che affascinante! Come al mio solito, oltre a godermi lo spettacolo di giorno, mi vivo soprattutto quello offerto dalla #notte che aggiunge ancora più fascino a questo bellissimo contesto ! La serata inizió un po' male a causa delle dense #nuvole che coprivano il #cielo, ma nonostante ciò mi misi in posizione ed aspettai fiducioso per realizzare una panoramica che includesse l'arco della #vialattea proprio sopra le #5torri . Anche se le speranze si spegnevano sempre di più, improvvisamente, le nuvole iniziarono a lasciare spazio alle #stelle scoprendo poco alla volta l'arco galattico! Le nuvole rimaste contribuirono a diffondere in modo morbido ed omogeneo le luci della città di Cortina d'Ampezzo posta dietro le torri ilumando quasi a giorno il primo piano . Uno spettacolo che avevo dato per perso, ma che è arrivato all'ultimo momento come a ripagare la lunga attesa !
