Ciao. Chiarissimo. Ti ringrazio per aver espresso la tua opinione che per me è sicuramente importante. Devo dire che però io non sono d'accordo. Prima di tutto perchè solitamente sto attento a fermarmi sempre prima del rumore in ogni mia elaborazione quindi non vedo perchè debba venire fuori qualche artefatto. In secondo luogo nella immagine di destra che hai provato ad elaborare io vedo esattamente quello che tu mi hai segnalato in quella a sinistra solamente meno inciso visto che il seeing della serata di destra era peggiore rispetto alla ripresa di sinistra. Inoltre quel dettaglio è presenta anche in altre riprese di altri autori che riporto qui sotto.
Inoltre il doppio bordo che ha segnalato (quello lungo è curvo) è presente anchesso nelle altre immagini ed è dovuto sicuramente alla bassezza del pianeta che è di soli 18°.
In ogni caso mia piace l'elaborazione che hai fatto in particolare sui chiaro scuri. Però secondo me hai utilizzato delle maschere troppo grosse "impastando" po' il tutto.
Ci tengo a sottolinere che la mia immagine è un IRRGB ed in molte imamgini RGB o con una luminanza meno incisiva sul RGB il bordo a S che hai segnalato è poco se non del tutto invisibile.

Io ho preso a riferimento le mappe del Viking che sono anche usate dalla simulazione di winjupos e anche quelle di Hubble nella grande opposizione del 2003.
