Reduce shutter speeds and close the aperture, you'll also start noticing a few more details about the planet.

I tried it :-), unfortunately it is not made with a telescope but with the Nikon 70-300 and a nice crop on the image. The photos with shorter times did not offer me much :-(, only the ball and no detail.... Thanks anyway of the advice:)

Yes yes, I had read the instrumentation with which you took but if you reduce the time not saturated Jupiter, it is very very bright so you can do much shorter shots. Then place the machine on a surface, under the lens you put something that keeps it facing the sky, set the mirror block and the shutter is delayed. A little bit of color, I mean... not some details about storms :-D

To be exact I used a Manfrotto BeFree and the lens rested on a windowsill. Deferred exposure and VR disabled. I have some shots with previous times as well but I did not satisfy unfortunately. Do you have any examples with similar optics? I would like to see what I could pull out and learn to exploit it to the fullest. Of course, that day I was at home :-) but I know I should leave to get a little something :-)

With a "short" optics so it is almost impossible to get even small results... we say that being able to perceive the two bands would be a great result.
I should move away to get a little something
Let's say that by Jove with that instrumentation you do not need the sky necessarily dark as for Deepsky photography ;-) You can do planetary imaging with good results even in suburban skies!

Heh yes, unfortunately I would also have something else to get a little extra but it is scratched the secondary :-)... Nothing shocking, a much hated Seben Big Boss but of Cero his 1400mm with the integrated Barlow would have their because :-)
The 300mm anyway brings out some satisfaction given the focal length and the environment ;-)
