Hello Catherine, thank you so much for your comment and I am glad you have it appreciated! :-)
As far as the scene of the picture "good idea" has had the town of Riva del Garda has chosen to illuminate the Christmas period, the remains of the castle and the church placed on the wall above the town, eliminating any other source bright!
For you then just reading a spot on one of the two monuments .. and you're done! :-D

That's why I stopped print off the photos! The low key I love it but I I buy a can of black 20l or continue to see them on the monitor (so saving ink and also current!:-D)
Beautiful Ermanno! It would have been nice in B & W ;-)

Thanks :-) Christian
I agree with you for the monitor instead of the printer, not on converting to B & W.. is a picture holding on so few things such as, in my opinion, the lights of the tower tricolor. If you take away even those I would become a bit sad! :-D

The B & W was a joke! Just because as you say it is composed only of essential points of light on a totally black background the flag is the subject that catches your eye ... then the attention goes to the shape of the tower and finally to the comet and the church! Only at the end you realize how big the "empty space and white" and how the extreme the decentration of the composition ...
It's a fantastic picture as well.
