Osservatorio Astronomico San Marcello Pistoiese, Italy.

Very good Leo.
a curiosity: But when you do stacking with Autostakkert, you select the parameter "Drizzle x 1.5"?

No, why?

I read that using that option you make a sort of resampling of the image zooming without losing the definition. I wanted to understand by who uses it if it finds advantages or not (it was not a question related to this image, but in general on the use of AS2...)

I tried to use it on solar and lunar footage this weekend.
the drizzle 3x in my opinion is more damaging than anything else, on the sun created me an incredible pixel netting.
Instead the result of the Drizzle 1, 5x on a lunar shoot not so good because of the seeing does not seem bad and comparing the result of the stack on the same shot without 1, 5x does not seem to alter the frame that much. These days I will do more accurate tests on footage that I have yet to elaborate. I'il let you know!
