Aveva proprio ragione Nino Manfredi quando cantava: " basta 'a salute... quanno c'e` 'a salute c'e` tutto... basta 'a salute e un par de scarpe nove poi gira` tutto er monno... e m'a accompagno da me... " " Stiamo vivendo tempi difficili, trovar lavoro nu se parla," - mi dice Fabietto " ce mettemo a sona' in piazza e qualche soldo se rimedia". Ha parlato col sorriso sulle labbra, senza rabbia. Con i suoi amici, si ritrovano tutti i giorni, tranne quando piove, e girando per tutte le piazze di Roma. Fabietto ama particolarmente piazza Navona, e a fine serata, si sente quasi sempre i rimbrotti di Cesare, che sostiene che, quando si va al Colosseo, o quando si rimedia un bel gruppone di turisti, di soldi se ne fanno di più. Ma Fabietto, è un romanticone, e replica: " Ah, Cesare, ma qualche euro in più nu te cambia la vita...vuoi mette la bellezza de sta piazza, che appena a vedi te se apre er core?". Condivido, riesco a farli smettere cinque minuti, il tempo di andarci a bere un bel caffé romano ai Tre Scalini...dove vedo una cascata di dolci, ma faccio finta di nulla per evitare una bomba di calorie.
