Questa banco sabbioso si è formato naturalmente ed è facilmente visibile quando si cammina lungo il sentiero costiero. Si tratta in effetti di una barriera che si è "rotolata" verso terra, unendosi alla terraferma con l'isola di Portland. La spiaggia è lunga quasi 18 miglia, larga 200 metri e alta circa 15 metri. Dietro si trova uno specchio d'acqua chiamato Fleet Lagoon, dove hanno testato la Bouncing Bomb nella seconda guerra mondiale. Buona visione.
