, hand held. Etna, Italy.

The part of "earth" is slightly dark ... maybe a multi-exposure would have helped .. Hello !!!

Ah, but you have already published ... and well but you did not good but very well ... Apart from the warm colors of Etna I like a lot the drawings that are created between the white snow with the dark background of the lava soil, they form a sort of absolutely unique "geometries" of great visual effect ... ;-) :-)
Always a big eye yours, complimentoni ... ;-) :-P

Beautiful beautiful beautiful.
contrast of the warm colors at the top (and not only the colors) with the cold ones of the bass, geometries (the circle, profiles mounts and new).

Happy Holidays.

A stupendous composition of this unique place that often captures in all its shapes and colors. Very good and congratulations again this time.

Nicoló :-) I understand perfectly your point of view and I agree with you: if there can be a recovery "natural" ok but if you have to get out a picture "pulled for the hair" better to opt for the choice you made. The shot remains enviable 8-)

As always you have managed to give strength and "impact" to the scene with color contrasts that always arouse intense emotions, and this time it was not easy (as if your other photos were ... :-D) also x distance..
Top as your usual, as obvious as Christmas ;-)

nice shot Nicolò! the sun inflames those clouds that perfectly close the circle, maybe I would try to remove a bit 'of cyan / blue shadows in the foreground, but I'm writing from the phone so it's all contestable! a greeting and a good continuation of the holidays

Piero, thank you!

Marco, thanks to you for the beautiful words that I always address :-)
I am very pleased to receive them from people I respect.
A hug!

Ishan, you're right. The shaded area, that is the whole slope, actually tends to the cyan a bit. I tried a version where I removed the cyan moderately but did not convince me, it broke too much. So I preferred to leave it so to maintain consistency both with the scene that I had before, both to ensure that the two areas with such a different exposure were integrated at best. Thanks always to you too, for the welcome steps and for the comments / advice ;-)

Hello everyone!

Hello Nicolò
Regarding the "geometries" you referred to you know what they remind me? The Palm Jumeirah, those artificial palm-shaped islands that are in Dubai :-)
true agree, but moreover lends itself to different interpretations, to me for example by the impression of the bone structure of a rib cage , in short, it could be used to make those texts of the sheets in black and white in psychology ... :-D :-)

Anyway, so for the sake of clarity, after writing my comment I read that you, already in the caption, hinted at the snow talk that highlights the lava conformation to ways ....... ;-)

Instead, on Trevisan's speech
The part of "earth" is slightly dark
I see it from my monitor very realistic, notdark, but as it usually is ... 8-)
A salutone .. ;-)

You're right too, Salvo :-)

Instead, on Trevisan's speech "The part of" earth "is slightly dark" I see it from my monitor very realistic, not dark, but as it usually is, also from the chromatic point of view.

You are probably facilitated because you know well those points of Etna ;-)
Thanks always !!

Hello Rosario, Happy 2018 to you! Thank you :-)
