Livinallongo del Col di Lana, Gruppo del Col di Lana ... ottobre 2016 ... Letteralmente incastonato sopra e dentro un gigantesco masso erratico trasportato a valle nel corso dell'ultima glaciazione, il poderoso fortilizio medievale di Andraz sorge in posizione dominante e militarmente strategica: dai suoi spalti era possibile traguardare visivamente la Rocca di Pietore ed altre fortificazioni cadorine e controllare agevolmente le direttrici commerciali che traversando l'area dolomitica mettevano in contatto l'Agordino con la Val Pusteria. Il castello, del quale si hanno notizie sin dall'XI secolo, possiede una incredibile struttura architettonica elaborata in funzione dello sperone sul quale sorge, ed un'unica piccola scaletta in legno consentiva l'accesso al suo interno.
