Sassetta una perla naturale della Val di Cornia. Piccolo e delizioso borgo storico della Costa degli Etruschi, sorge, tra boschi e selve di castagni, sulla sommità di una collina che domina il mare. Sassetta dal latino saxum, "roccia", per cui Sassetta è la "piccola roccia" è il più piccolo comune, 528 abitanti, della provincia di Livorno in Toscana.
