"Karersee by Night" This shot was taken in Northern Italy this winter. It was really cold - 16°, I was freezing.. and my camera too! There was no one there. I really love silence and nature. In summer this is a beautiful lake, in winter it becomes totally frozen: its name is "Karersee" (German), this is because it is situated in Trentino Alto Adige: an italian region where two languages are spoken: italian and german. It is possible to walk all around the lake through an incredible and immersive forest. I want to specify that this is a composite, in fact it is not possible to see milky way's core in Italy in winter.. so you have to wait until march when milky way will be there in the same position! This pic is not supposed to be "real", my purpose was to make people dreaming. I love working with photoshop and lightroom to create the shot I have in my mind.
