Thank you Fabio, I appreciate your new comment. I reworked the raw, trying to eliminate the posterization that you had highlighted in the first version. I just applied a slight correction with the curves (linear contrast) and slightly increased (5%) the color saturation, then reduced the image (2000 px long side) and increased the sharpness with the enhanced PS filter. I assure you that in the image viewed with Photoshop, the background appears homogeneous, while that annoying background effect only appears after uploading the photo on this site. I do not know what to attribute to this "artifact".
