Fotografare nei pressi del sito di nidificazione (e anche delle arene di canto) richiede sempre una certa attenzione, sensibilità e conoscenza della specie oggetto del nostro interesse; anteponendo comunque la “tranquillità” dei soggetti alla nostra voglia di fotografarli.- Per noi si tratta della realizzazione di un'immagine, come forse ne sono già state fatte molte; per loro è una questione di successo riproduttivo e di sopravvivenza della prole.- Volendo realizzare una foto così ravvicinata, ho iniziato ad abituare lentamente i soggetti alla mia presenza ed a quella dell'attrezzatura fotografica, facendo attenzione ad ogni loro minima variazione comportamentale.- Dopo oltre una settimana di visite giornaliere, quando i due acquaioli si erano completamente assuefatti alla mia presenza ed a quella dell'attrezzatura, ho iniziato a fare le riprese.- Ho realizzato molti scatti e parecchie riprese video in diversi giorni; mancando, purtroppo, solo quelle subacquee.- L'ultimo giorno che mi sono recato sul posto, dopo aver realizzato ulteriori immagini, ho atteso che ambedue i genitori avessero imbeccato i piccoli ormai prossimi all'involo e, confidando nel fatto che sapevo che dopo l'imbeccata di entrambi si succedeva un tempo morto che mi consentiva di rimuovere l'attrezzatura fotografica e video prima del ritorno dei genitori, ho provveduto in tal senso.- Ma evidentemente uno dei due aveva reperito ulteriore cibo in tempi più brevi del solito.- E' arrivato in volo e si è appoggiato su una roccia più o meno ad un metro e mezzo da me che stavo smontando l'attrezzatura a circa cinquanta centimetri dal nido; mi ha guardato per un attimo e poi, in tutta tranquillità si è diretto al nido ed ha imbeccato i piccoli.- Sono rimasto immobile; impietrito; lui ha fatto quello che doveva fare poi mi ha guardato con un fare un po' “ammiccante” e, per nulla spaventato, si è poi normalmente involato lungo il torrentino.- Sono state una soddisfazione ed un'emozione intense vivere quel momento; soprattutto il sentirsi accettato da quel soggetto che evidentemente ormai mi considerava una parte non pericolosa del suo ambiente; una valenza di gran lunga superiore a tutta la documentazione fotografica e video che sono riuscito a realizzare.-
