Ho avuto il piacere di elaborare questa immagine realizzata dall'amico Alvaro e ve la mostro. Si tratta della galassia catalogata come NGC3521, nella costellazione del leone. Facente parte del gruppo locale, è distante da noi tra i 35-40 mil. di al. L'alone molto ampio che circonda la galassia indica una probabile interazione con altri oggetti ormai fusi con la galassia stessa. La foto è stata realizzata al BCO con un RC 10" ridotto e Moravian G21600, esponendo per circa 6 ore totali. In attesa di avere i canali colore, ve la propongo così come io riesco ad elaborala.
