ONE WEEK TO GO.. Per un fotografo non c'è nulla di più eccitante che la prospettiva di partire per una grande avventura, macchina fotografica in mano. Nuovi luoghi da scoprire, nuovi panorami, nuovi punti di vista, nuove esperienze e soprattutto nuove lezioni da apprendere. È passato quasi un anno, ormai, da quando ho cominciato a preparare questo enorme progetto che mi terrà in Bangladesh per oltre un mese. Cinque settimane di viaggio attraverso luoghi tra cui Dhaka, Narail, Khulna, Sylhet e Chittagong. Ho sognato questo viaggio sin da quando ho lasciato quella terra fantastica quasi due anni fa e da quel momento esatto la mia mente s'è alimentata di un sacco di idee. E tutto è cominciato da quando il mio corpo e il mio cervello sono stati travolti da quelle persone straordinarie e quei luoghi e situazioni incredibili che ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare la prima volta. Da allora è iniziata una lunga ricerca documentandomi sulla storia del luogo, cultura e religione, usi e costumi. Scrivere e prendere appunti su storie e foto che ho immaginato e persino sognato. Per tutto questo tempo Internet è diventato uno dei miei strumenti essenziali. Giusto per essere chiari, comunque, tutto questo non è affatto male. Questa è senza dubbio una delle parti più emozionanti. L'avventura non comincia quando si arriva a destinazione, ma esattamente nel minuto in cui si pensa all'idea.

Before this I tried a couple of other softbox foldable type (square), but I found them at all comfortable for my needs.
