Dopo aver fotografato un bellissimo tramonto presso la spiaggia di Jokulsarlon decido, insieme al mio amico, di rimettermi in direzione di Vestrahorn. Dalle condizioni meteo eravamo sicuri che avremmo potuto vedere un'aurora boreale di Kp5 in quelle zone. Giunti in quelle zone, durante le ore notturne, ci rendiamo conto che purtroppo l'aurora non era così potente come ci eravamo immaginati. Inizio, scrutando il territorio intorno a me trovando infine nel sottile strato di ghiaccio, una pietra con una bolla d'aria ghiacciata. Decido di comporre in maniera verticale esponendo per circa due minuti, cogliendo la luminosità del sorgere della luna e buona parte di nuvole in movimento.
