Questa foto è più ambientata rispetto all'altra e mi è costata molta più fatica! Abbiamo avvistato il lupo in lontananza mentre percorreva un costone roccioso fermandosi ad intervalli per guardarsi intorno: rapidamente ho deciso di seguirlo sul versante opposto della valletta che ci separava correndo con fatica ( altitudine 4100 metri!) quando lui correva, fermandomi quando si fermava. Per un po' siamo andati avanti così con un centinaio di metri o più che ci separavano, poi la fortuna mi ha premiato perché ha deciso di scendere dal costone nella mia direzione. Così mi ha concesso diversi scatti (sempre abbastanza da lontano) che esprimono il dinamismo del suo incedere e l'eleganza di questo piccolo ma bellissimo lupo. Purtroppo lo vedremo,forse,ancora per poco,( circa 300 esemplari rimasti in tutta l'Etiopia,in cui è endemico) essendo fortemente a rischio il suo habitat naturale.
