Sul colle che domina Capo Sperone ( Su Cabu de su Logu), in località Sa guardia de su Turcu, sono visibili gli interessanti ruderi dell'ottocentesco semaforo. La felice posizione del sito, posto a 176 metri di altezza, consente un formidabile colpo d'occhio che giunge sino a Capo Teulada, abbracciando il mare d'occidente. Il luogo fu scelto dalla Regia marina sul finire del XIX secolo per l'installazione di una postazione semaforica e telegrafica destinata al controllo dell'accesso al Golfo di Palmas.
