I think you have created a very particular image here. I think that placing the subject on the right hand side of the frame with a symmetrical reflexion works well. I would have probably cropped the image in a square format as all the negative space you have left on the left hand side of the picture doesn't bright too much to the overall image. I like the simplicity and peaceful scene though.
