Appena rientrati da un bellissimo viaggio allo Yellowstone. Ormai un appuntamento fisso. Questo era la seconda volta in questo 2016. Dopo i cuccioli di Maggio, ci siamo dedicati alla ricerca di cervi in periodo di bramito, alci, e molto altro. Non solo animali infatti. Anche splendidi paesaggi. Quella mattina c'erano davvero tantissimi fotografi a cercare di immortalare il Grand Teton con i colori del foliage americano. L'alba non era stata niente di eccezionale, purtroppo. Il cielo chiuso, poi all'improvviso comincia anche a piovere. Decidiamo di riporre l'attrezzatura e ci dirigiamo pian piano verso la macchina. Poi uno squarcio del cielo, basta poco. Le montagne si vedono in tutto il loro splendore, i colori dei larici e delle betulle impreziosisce la sponda dello snake river mentre l'arcobaleno disegna il suo fascio di colori.
