Day 4 Dopo una nottata passata tra gente che russava come bisonti e sgomitate con la mia ragazza per il poco posto nel letto, Facciamo colazione e abbandoniamo il rifugio di Emstrur. Il tragitto si svuluppa praticamente quasi tutto in piano, attraverso una vasta valle divisa da una strada percorribile sia a piedi che con le tipiche Super jeep Islandesi. Il Sole si alterna alla pioggia e sono più occupato a guardarmi intorno che a fotografare. Per la maggior parte del tempo la fotocamera resta nello zaino. Alla fine di questa vallata si giunge ad un fiume (anche questo da guadare e privo di ponti per l'attraversamento) questa volta l'acqua è più alta e per attraversarlo restiamo in mutande; a gruppi di tre attraversiamo tenendoci a braccetto, questa volta l'acqua non è gelida come l'altro fiume, ma la corrente mi slaccia un sandalo e attraverso come se avessi una pinna da sub al piede (maledetta Decathlon). Il nostro cammino prosegue e il verde dei muschi che ricoprono le montagne si fanno sempre più intensi, questo mi invoglia a tirare fuori la fotocamera, ma la pioggia si fa più insistente e fino all'arrivo al rifugio di alftavatn non scatto foto. Una volta arrivati, mangiamo un boccone e usciamo per un escursione extra sulla montagna di fianco al rifugio per vedere il lago su cui sorge, dall'alto. una volta in cima quello che mi colpisce di più, non è il lago ma i raggi filtranti del sole sopra una vallata dominata da una formazione piramidale. Mentre sistemavo questa foto mi sono accorto di una piacevole sorpresa, due escursionisti che camminano sulla collina in basso a sx... Sono molto piccoli :-) vi sfido a trovarli... eheheh
