Il Canon fdn 80-200 f/4L è uno dei pochi zoom della vecchia generazione di obiettivi dalle più che buone prestazioni, se ti interessa c'è un articolo di Cavina che ne parla con valutazioni più che lusinghiere.
La mia scelta del vintage è stata quasi obbligata, o mi disfavo di tutto il vecchio corredo Canon fd, per passare ad altro (in realtà ho anche una EOS 60d) oppure acquistavo un corpo macchina che mi permettesse di riutilizzare tutto il corredo. Tieni presente che i vecchi Canon fd per questione di tiraggio non possono essere montati sulle EOS. 
Fortunatamente Santa Sony, ha prodotto le fotocamere a7, full-frame, che di fatto hanno ridato nuova vita ai miei vecchi fd!!! :
