Cute, I would try to make it more minimal where it was possible.
The horizon at the center do not like, unless, as is written in the books of photography, you do not want to represent the monotony, but it does not seem the case.
The colors are good, but the blue on the sky seems hazy, perhaps too blunt. Maybe it depends on the contrast.
The composition is really rather beautiful to me then this unbalanced compositions especially like ;-)
Marco.

very beautiful photo, gives me a sense of tranquility and peace.

Unfortunately there is a strong chromatic aberration in the tree at the top left and in the underlying rock spur, there is a longer alone in the horizon.

The cool colors of the sea and of the upper part of the sky does not match with the red dawn, the center then the sea is almost white.
Pleasing composition in my opinion, even if unbalanced
I would try to eliminate the part to the right and to dim the lights
(Even if it makes me weird to say this, since I'm not really able to get the results you'd like)

Thanks for the comments.
The horizon at the center almost is due to the fact that I wanted to keep the plant in full on the left, could cut the bottom part but did not convince me, so I left it. As regards the blue hazy sky, it was a very wet morning, the rain had stopped by only a few hours, despite the work in post a bit 'remained.

Chromatic aberration and halo, especially in the left side are due to the union of the two shots, I tried and tried but I could not remove them. I still have to improve on this technique.

Raffa Thanks for the advice, I know the flaws you write, in fact I was never 100% convinced this photo.

I really like the composition in particular I find it fits perfectly ...
I do not back the excessive brightness of the sea ...
But tonemapping of single-shot or two shots at different exposure :-D?

It is no tone mapping or a fusion of such HDR shots. I made two shots one for the sky and one for the sea / coast and then I joined them with layer masks.

It seems to me well done taken some small difettino you have already reported suggest ;-) but I would not know for sure how to improve it ...

It's a good photo Pier ... transmits calm ... beautiful colors and excellent sharpness on the rocks.
I tried a pdr lower, almost at ground level with rocks in the foreground. :-)

Hello Philip, perhaps compositional would have given more space to marine plywood and would slightly cropped the photo on the opposite side. I would see this well in BW, perhaps tracing a little 'pictures in Michael Kenna style ;-)

Philip and Baribal, thanks for the ideas, I had not thought.
Ales Thanks for the ride ;-)

However, the plant is not a sea pine but an agave.

Good composition and also technically the realization, apart from the cursed white halo that comes out in this type of shots. Unfortunately I could not tell how to eliminate it except by a "medieval" processing.
The only thing that does not convince me 100% are the colors, or rather, are very delicate, pleasant, but I allowed myself to do a conversion "on the fly" in bn and I think the shot will gain a lot!

Not bad, but I ritaglierei eliminating a bit 'high and that plant. The colors are strange but pleasant

... Done on the fly by a screenshot, but just to give an idea:

A compositionally do not see errors: cut the base would increase the space of the sky but it does not seem to say anything beyond the line of the clouds, cut above would compromise the agave. I would have moved slightly to the left with the frame to bring the third agave.
Question: Instead of the amount of shots, you could not get a similar effect with a single longer exposure?

I do not especially like the point of shooting a bit ' "gaunt" without a composition worthy of note. Technically it's ok but it tells me little. The colors should be then a little 'revised while the dynamic range is very good. The hint of black and white is not to be discarded!

@Razor But uhm this solution takes my reds dawn, something I wanted to try to represent. Anyway thanks for the idea ;-)

@Kun, Not because they were too different brightness, the correct exposure for the sea, for example, has made me totally white sky and the correct exposure for the sky made me very dark around the sea and the coast. I would much solved even with HDR, for things like better union of several levels.

@Paolo, Thanks for the criticism, actually there is no real subject and the colors I was hoping better.

pleasant pictures with relaxing colors. I prefer the color version, because the colors are soft and non-invasive. Maybe you could try a lower point of recovery, almost beach level, but these are personal tastes. 8-)

Hello Mattefra, are the second that I recommend the lowest point of recovery. Me are marked, I will try again when I will take ;-)
