Day 3 Pt2 Affrontata la salita dove ho scattato la foto precedente, il nostro cammino procede in una vallata bellissima che termina con il rifugio di Emstrur (in assoluto il rifugio più scomodo di tutto il trekking). Arrivati al rifugio, la guida decide di portarci a fare un'escursione extra, asppesantito dallo zaino che mi son portato dietro tutto il giorno, decido di lasciare in rifugio tutto... Compresa la fotocamera... Dopo un paio di km arriviamo a questa immensa squarciatura nel terreno, con un fiume che passa in mezzo e rimango sbalordito dalle dimensioni impressionanti del luogo. Mi pento amaramente di non aver portato la fotocamera con me, ma comincia a piovere insistentemente e torniamo di fretta al rifugio. Arrivato il momento di preparare la cena, continuo a pensare a quel canyon e all'occasione che mi sono lasciato scappare lasciando la fotocamera al rifugio. Ad un certo punto, dò un occhiata fuori, il cielo sembra aprirsi... Senza pensarci due volte mi vesto, afferro la fotocamera e mi faccio i 2 km che portano al Canyon di corsa. Una scena fantastica mi si presenta davanti agli occhi, un tramonto delicato e soffuso che illuminava di luce dorata tutto il ghiacciaio. Faccio qualche scatto verticale, ma mi rendoo subito conto che non rendono l'idea dell'immensità del posto, così decido di fare una panoramica di più scatti, sperando di dare giustizia alla grandezza del Canyon. Dopo qualche scatto, ricomincia la pioggia e il vento forte, resto a scattare ancora per qualche minuto, ma si sta facendo buio, è ora di tornare al rifugio, la zuppa di riso e la carne in scatola mi aspettano.... P.S ho sempre odiato la carne in scatola, ma quando si ha fame, si ha fame...
