Caro Joe... che dire, se non rilevare che la tua lettura, ancora una volta, supera la fotografia?
Certamente concordo con te sul fatto che la ricerca, la prima, dovrebbe essere "altrove", rispetto ad alcuni piani che, spesso, sembrano divenire invece il centro dell'attenzione.

Non so se c'è "messaggio": ho sempre pensato che, salvo alcune esperienze precise, l'idea stretta di messaggio sia spesso un po' forzata rispetto alla fotografia. Più un discorrerne a posteriori che altro.
Ma credo di comprendere il senso in cui tu scegli di utilizzare il termine, e anche qui concordo con te sull'importanza di quel che, troppo spesso, si sacrifica al tentativo di perseguire un bello altero e superficiale.
Errore comune, certamente anche mio in primis...
