Messier 109 è una bellissima galassia a spirale barrata nella costellazione dell'Orsa Maggiore distante circa 55 milioni di al. Molti i dettagli visibili in questa immagine dove sono riuscito a mettere in evidenza anche alcune irregolarità profonde della barra centrale del nucleo. Molte anche le galassie di fondo che si intravedono tutt'intorno ma purtroppo anche un certo traffico di satelliti e aerei che hanno lasciato le loro tracce :-/ Ciao
