M16 - Eagle Nebula sent on June 29, 2012 (21:27) by Valerio74. 25 comments, 4340 views.

Posa B f/9.0, ISO 800, tripod.

Beautiful picture, congratulations. - Excuse my utter ignorance with the "astro-photography digital" Did you use a tripod, then you have not chased the eagle, yet it flew fast:-D in 150 minutes of recovery. One shot and the other re-collimavi a guide star or collimated you all in the post (maybe with Photoshop)? Thanks, again if you can "enlighten" naturally - Good light - Gpiero

A little fantastic, as all your photos
surprising the definition in the middle.
Nothing to say in this area you're number one!
May I ask from where it was taken?
Surely you were above the level of 1500m.
Hello

Hello, I have in fact taken for granted, but on a tripod there was a special motorized head, called the wedge, which is used to compensate the motion of the Earth as early in the recovery phase. Here you can find the image of the setup of recovery.

May I ask from where it was taken?
I made it from Piacenza Apennines, towards Liguria, exactly Pian dell'Armà, south of Varzi, in the area of ??the pitch helps. The altitude is about 1,400 meters

Ah well, wedge, accompanied by Vixen 25-30 cm, I suppose, telescope with controfiocchi me ;-) everything is clear now. Thanks again, congratulations for the beautiful pictures you offer. I will try to do something much more modest, as soon as possible, in parallel mounting the camera on my Tele + Polarex Unitron compact 4'' F15 (unfortunately), an "ancient", excellent refractor for planetary observation and photos, also with Frame equatorial. Thanks again, a greeting - Gpiero

...corredata di Vixen 25-30 cm, suppongo,...
E' un più modesto 20cm ;-)
I polarex Unitron sono eccellenti telescopi, buone foto

compliments for the photos, very sharp.
Can I ask what tools you used for tracking poses in 10 minutes?
What frame is that?

I used an off-axis guider Orion Deluxe model and the room of the Starfish Fishchamp

What frame is that?
is an Orion EQ-G, identical apart from the color to the most popular Skywatcher EQ-6

Beautiful!
It makes me want to get back to a do it! Finally returned my 500D with the Baader filter and the next full moon I want to unleash! The M16 is one of my subjects, already made wide-field (along with M17), now I want to do with the RC to 1370 mm focal length. There will be fun with the manual guide wow!

hello

Clear

Thank you all for the comments and Chiara Good luck for the guidance manual for RC!

Did you use an external keyboard with manual steering?
No, I use a long-guiding system, so while the telescope photographer, I can do more photos with other setup

could you kindly describe how to make the autoguider, which software do you use?

avatarsenior

Grazie Gpierocompostela e Marcon!

nice picture! I know whether to use some filter?

avatarsenior
sent on July 08, 2012 (15:45)

Hello, beautiful photos, I saw in your setup that you have fixed the vixen to the frame with THREE rings.
I also have the vixen recently and I'm doing the first tests that I use on a EQ6, often photos at full focus are moved me, in spite of the parallel-guide.
For the case of six arrived at the solution of the rings just to make everything more stable than the one bar that comes on vixen vc200l

hello and congratulations again
