Il palazzo del Reichstag di Berlino fu costruito come sede per le riunioni del Reichstag, il parlamento del Reich tedesco. Fu inaugurato nel 1894 e tornÚ ad essere la sede del parlamento tedesco nel 1999. L'attuale parlamento tedesco si chiama Bundestag. L'edificio è aperto al pubblico e si può visitare il suo interno; questo mi ha permesso di poter realizzare un piccolo set di architettura anche per questa struttura. Il parlamento si compone di una facciata classicheggiante e un interno moderno. Di grande importanza è la cupola di vetro, costruita al suo interno dall'architetto e designer britannico Norman Foster, da cui è possibile avere una stupenda visione panoramica della città di Berlino. Il complesso architettonico è armonioso, una struttura a cono si erge al centro della cupola e determina un senso di equilibrio e proporzione di tutte le linee, come di un'ascesa al cielo partendo dal centro della terra. In questo caso specifico le forme dell'edificio moderno mi hanno rapito e coinvolto così tanto da adattarmi completamente alla sua configurazione architettonica, ricercando come sempre un'elaborazione personale della costruzione, con fotografie in silhouette e fotografie in grandangolo che evidenziano anche i dettagli dei materiali utilizzati per la fabbricazione dell'edificio, facendo il possibile per non risultare banale nella realizzazione delle fotografie.
