A single-shot 50 minutes?!? Ok, we're talking about the Ferrari of equatorial mounts, but I did not believe you were able to achieve times like that without guider! wow!

Hello Zeppo, a pose of 50 minutes with a single exposure would saturate any sensor, the DSLR hardly surpass the 10 minutes the image beyond the shutter speed would be completely overexposed.
Anyway with additional software stellar mapping would be possible to make unguided exposures up to one hour, I personally have seen images of 30 minutes perfectly guided by GM1000HPS mount with this software.

You're right Slashleo is the integration of different images for a total time of 50 minutes!
Cmq thanks for your nice comment even though this was carried out under the worst possible conditions for a resumption astrophotography .. from a metropolitan inquinatissimo and sky with the Full Moon!
Hello
Stephen
