@ Toto: probably there are other points of view (take a look at the other photos of Civita, which are in my gallery "Alto Lazio" Why so you realize the location of Civita) the bridge is the only access route.
Other points of recovery may be on the edge of the "crater" inside of which is the Civita and probably can be reached on foot through the trails.
