Pirates of The Ligurian Sea sent on December 23, 2015 (19:10) by Leonardo670sv. 26 comments, 2015 views.

, 2 sec f/8.0, ISO 200, tripod. Manarola, Italy.

ITA compliments, I would have preferred that the lights were left dimmer, perhaps like those on the right, but you could not help it, I also really like the boat in the water, what about beautiful shot, I like

Thank you very much to both Apollo79 that Giambi!
Apollo79, as you've already said you unfortunately the lights on the left being closer and point right toward my direction are stronger and invasive than those far right! :-(
Greetings, Leonardo

Beautiful image. I like the idea, a new tale of Manarola. Rivedrei some things on the post, particularly the halo around the rock on the right edge, the reflection on the water left of the boat and the boat itself with the edges a little 'wavy / blurred. I dwell in the many notes because I think it has a good potential, the fact remains that I like a lot already. Compliments.
A greeting

Thank you so much to all, I'm glad you enjoyed it !! Thanks Timk2 and Jeant, really kind words!
Hector regarding the halo you're right, you notice and may not like it, but it was a choice to emphasize the two lights near them: I left it, but maybe sdubbia a bit 'me too! Surely when will resume in hand I will punish him.
For the boat, I think it was the most problematic point of the whole, as it was stopped for obvious reasons, and I did not want to raise too the iso and have loud clicks; messing a bit 'so I finally got a result that satisfied me, but are unanimous in saying that the ring is probably the most "weak" photo! Thanks for the ride, and thank you notes, is whethermpre a pleasure to deal :-)

Greetings and happy holidays to all, Leonardo

not stood still for obvious reasons and did not want to raise too the iso and have loud clicks

Leonardo in these cases becomes a fine move iso high enough to have the boat stops and then merges with layer mask taking only the boat, so you have the rest of the image clean. In your case, however, it is a panoramic and if the fusion line falls right on the boat then things get complicated: in this case are not the most suitable person to give advice, some people are much better prepared than me.
Thanks for sharing serene and happy holidays to you too :-)

26 # 39; unnoticed .. but I would not swear.

I really like the sky with the stars and the moon ... otherwise I'm sorry but I'd do it over again, a cropperi cm right where it ends ... Manarola would pull out more detail, contrasterei a bit 'manarola, I would close the shadows where you generate too much noise, desaturerei the part below the photo and I would give a little 'of vividness to the top

sorry if I have dwelt but I like your idea ... (I have made a single shot from them .. and I had a Sigma 10-20 (so I was to 16mm) with a 14 but you could to make us feel more 'stuff with less fatigue.) if you can, starting from the raw rivedrei finished ... I can pull off a shot remarkable !!

see you soon!! ;-)

Gianluca Hey! Hello and good Christmas, thanks a lot of comments and words spent, I tell you already that I appreciate very much! :-P

I try to answer with respect to all the points!
1) alone on the houses on the left it is not of a merger because the merger there was -D shooting was unique and there were no jumps exposure; in a comment just above I wrote that it was a choice while doing a little 'dodge and burn to use a larger brush to give brightness to the area, as well invading the sky! But I realize it was wrong huh, there and then I liked but there seems nothing but a halo of fusion as you said yourself, when I resume I'll also probably correct.
2) the boat: you're absolutely right here too, it is; quite undecided as an element and that's what makes me personally turn up more mouth as it would have been nice to give it more punch.
3) regarding the difference in color between the lower and the middle part of the frame really do not notice a difference it makes me feel sick, are sincere :-) Maybe on the rocks on the left, the contrast is strongest for direct and close, but I see something quite natural and in any case at the level of contrasts and colors I developed shooting evenly so I would not know what to tell you, I do not see problems on this part!

I hope I have clarified all the points, thank you so much for the critics, it is always good to receive (especially construction) in order to improve!
A final personal note I do (not on picture) riguardo to what you said yourself on the panoramic and Max Rive: in my opinion, however, if one has available well that tool should use them; I mean, in the end no one is born a master of landscape and still less of propane (which I think are even more difficult to make nice!) but with exercise and experience maybe you can pull off jobs that egregious :-P The speech, as you say you, of "letting go" in my opinion is wrong because then even when in many admired the work of Dyar, Adamus and co. the first time when they looked like fallen on earth, if everyone had said "never mind" at this time no one would know still so orton effect, dodge and burn, and all other techniques using the American school landscape in recent years the :-) Things are learned, experienced, and if you see that you take,Improved! "Letting Go" is not in my vocabulary, pardon: -D: -D
PPPPPPS: far be it from me to be the first to have tried this shot, maybe !! -D There is always someone who was there before :-)

Greetings and happy holidays yet, Leonardo

Hello Leonardo
You know, since you've made it clear without beating about the bush in the past, that your hand in post production I do not like, but for me here have worked very well, both in composition that is super for me, that as management of lights and (finally -D) colors.
Certainly some defects are noted, but neinte so striking in my humble opinion.
It seems excessive slating Gianluca, and I'll tell him in private ;-), but personally with the composition have framed perfectly Manarola, the boat moved but personally I do not mind, and then the sea as they said Cochi and Renato "it is moveable "(but maybe you're a little too young -D), the colors of the country is perfect for me because we are still of the night, what the hell color dovrebbI was never there? .Unique disorder true for me are the lights of the left, with its flare but in my opinion they could intervene with a light reduction with LM.Quello I do not like is the part of the sky with the moon ( a little distorted) that is just on the edge inquadratura.Non had some margin above?

I wondered, however, if you really needed all 6 vertical shots, two were not there?

however nice job, continues to experience that you are the right age ... then if you do not the Commissioner commented because they are too full of color or with post production too heavy to ignore it, he does not follow fashions let alone those of the Americans ;-)
Hello
Simone
