thick bushes .... well .... I will ascend above the lookout sent on May 30, 2012 (14:08) by Bortolix63. 17 comments, 1516 views.

, 1/8000 f/2.8, ISO 640, Samburu National Reserve, Kenya.

Hello Nymphalidae, the distance was very little .... a friend who photographed standing one meter behind me with the roof open, and it was his first game after a minute he said that the lion staring at him in the eye ... in a mix of Venetian dialect "situ sure that it not jump in here?" are you sure you do not jump in here?? :-)

hello Memy is not nitpicking, and you have absolutely right. His gaze was helping me in this and in fact some then I made using the 100/400. The distance using the 300 does not allow me to another, this photo does not have a thread of crop and honestly I have not thought of looking to move to the right .... now that you mention that fur was fine although I might have lost some of the trunk on the right so that I almost fell right into the corner. (But I say it just now after you made me do the reasoning:-P)
Thanks Stefano

Hello GM, the "blessed light of dawn and dusk," which makes us make up early and come back after dark. I like to think that when we look "good light" is this what you mean.
Thanks and by the way ..... GOOD LIGHT

Zioigor hello, you're right ..... it was dawn and just before the clouds attenuated that little light coming. after a couple of shots I had been to 640 and gave me a decent result then came this light and I was afraid to decide to go down, I then clicked again to 640 ..... I know I'm too instinctive and yet little attention to changes . I think it's a thing of that comes from having to drive, position yourself, take, keep an eye on what happens next (the other two lions), questions of who the board etc.. etc..
As soon as I have a moment I check the other ... who knows ... if I come up with.
Thanks indication.

Hello Igor, I understood well ..... is that I like the idea, however, to be stimulated by a different point of view that might help me to "think" more when you have a piece of time and would like to make "the shot "But then it is what it is. Selfishly speaking is what drives me to post photos, I want to take even the slightest benefit from more experiences. For the reason that "there is never a second chance to make a first good picture"
Thanks Stefano

excellent pose and point of recovery, your usual readiness to grasp the subject, the light that does not help, leaving a dark eye ...

Orso364 Hello, you're right, maybe I groped in PP to brighten, I had not thought of that.
Thanks
