In fact the technique is simple. I used the kitchen table to compose the scene, I used a black cardboard folded into a U bought in stationery as shelf and seabed. As regards the lighting, I used the light coming from the window, much more manageable than that of a flash. To keep the pomegranate cut in half I used a support in place. I took a bit 'of time to place the beans in a way that is not too covered up each other and bring the eye toward the rewards exploiting the image diagonal. In post production I darkened the backdrop, not completely black and I made even brighter pomegranate seeds.

In realtà la tecnica è semplicissima. Ho utilizzato il tavolo della cucina per comporre la scena, mi sono servito di un cartoncino nero ripiegato ad U comperato in cartoleria come ripiano e fondale. Per quanto riguarda l'illuminazione, ho sfruttato la luce proveniente dalla finestra, molto più gestibile rispetto a quella di un flash. Per tenere in posizione la melagrana tagliata a metà ho utilizzato un supporto. Ho impiegato un po' di tempo per disporre i chicchi in maniera che non si coprissero troppo l'un l'altro e che portassero l'occhio verso i frutti sfruttando la diagonale dell'immagine. In post produzione ho scurito il fondale, non perfettamente nero ed ho reso più luminosi i chicchi di melagrana.
