Non capisco bene a cosa ti riferisci di preciso con il fatto che il primo piano abbia un po' patito, se intendi dire che il tempo lungo possa aver causato del mosso sui rami per via del vento lo escludo, non c'era vento, ho fatto anche uno scatto a 20 secondi (lo intravedi nell'anteprima) e non si vede mosso.
Il problema è che pur avendo fatto diversi scatti con diverse esposizioni ho scelto di sviluppare un singolo scatto e vedere cosa riuscivo a tirare fuori, sto cercando di imparare a manipolare luce e colore in PS e per me è stato un bel esercizio.
Il risultato finale non è dei migliori sia perchè non riesco a riprodurre come vorrei io quella particolare miscela di luce e colore che c'è quando il tramonto è già finito da un pezzo e iniziano ad accendersi le luci in valle, la differenza di luminosità tra il fondo valle ed i monti è molta e non riesco a dare alla foto finale una forma di coerenza con la realtà pur enfatizzando il colore e la visibilità nelle zone più scure. Sono sicuro che ad un certo punto sentirò il bisogno di uno studio più approfondito sulla questione ma al momento ho cose più importanti da imparare.
L'istogramma del RAW è completo, nel senso che c'è un piccolo margine a destra e le ombre, se pur al limite, non sono in clipping.
Nella fotina che ho allegato vedi anche due TIFF di fianco al RAW di questa foto (evidenziati in rosso) che sono l'unione di 3 scatti fatta con SNS-HDR, le ombre in basso risultano più leggibili e meno impastate ma per il resto mi piaceva di più lo scatto singolo che ho poi scelto di sviluppare.
Se mi spieghi di preciso qual'è la cosa che ti lascia dei dubbi cercherò di essere più preciso.

Claudio Ciao Beppe, in effetti mi sembravano poco nitidi i larici in primo piano, magari è dovuto solo alla versione in bassa risoluzione visto che escludi la presenza di vento, visto il raw non mi sembra possibile sia dovuto all'apertura delle ombre visto che l'esposizione è corretta in quella zona, al limite è più difficile recuperare la tonalità del cielo che mi sembra un po' chiaro.
È capitato anche sulle foto al Devero fatte in mancanza di luce al mattino presto, forse con uno scatto solamente in queste condizioni i sensori non ce la fanno
