con Nikon TC-17E II, Posa B f/7.1, ISO 1600, tripod.

foresta di Rifreddo (PZ) - primo scatto della stagione astrofotografica autunno/inverno 2015-2016, un asterismo non molto fotografato ma secondo me tra i più belli del cielo boreale. l'accoppiata NGC 869 + NGC 884 offre uno spettacolo notevole già anche in semplice osservazione, fermo restando che con la fotocamera si posso apprezzare meglio le sue particolarità. fra queste l'elevato numero di supergiganti rosse che spiccano contro il bianco-azzurro delle componenti più numerose :) sembra che sia uno degli asterismi più "antichi" ad essere stato individuato e classificato, complice immagino anche l'assoluta mancanza di inquinamento luminoso a quei tempi :D - fotocamera montata su EQ6 + Synscan, 21 pose da 1 minuto ISO 1600 + dark - allineamento, stacking e processing con IRIS e CS5
