1/2000 f/3.5, ISO 160,

Come promesso aggiungo (senza alcuna pretesa "dogmatica") alcuni spunti di lettura. Venezia, esterno, tardo meriggio estivo.

It is not a shot already seen in a thousand other similarities and variations.

This for me is a great value.

What a photograph can do interesting,

provide a content, a meaning, a question, ask for a response.

Sure is a response varies as there are people who look at and interpret.

Cordial greetings.

What is unusual image is out of the question.
That provides content and meaning I am convinced.
And 'the answer that I find it hard, as usual.
But this image is certainly food for thought. And this is a great thing.

Dearest Paola, this time really expect a reply, and no matter how long it takes! Then I'll give the "version" of the author: will our (albeit modest!) Contribution "concrete" in the debates of considerable interest being measured here in the forum on ways and non-technical content of a photograph! And, of course, any other responsible contribution will be welcome. A hug!

I see that the author invites to Paola possibly express a vision for the future, not excluding other interventions.

Having attributed with my previous comment to this content, his being a possible question, I will not evade my answer.

I therefore feel free to write my vision, an interpretation that is certainly subjective, partial and fragmentary.

I am struck by the inclination of the bottom of the stage, the profound changes of the plans of light and dark that provide a layered vision of the many realities coexisting merged in this photograph.

The large fireplaces that can be seen are a typical element also in the smaller towns of the palaces of Este, Montagnana, Lendinara and many other sights2F>
Good evening.

Patrician

Tornatore's film that you refer to is centered on the importance of cinema as a medium of communication and collective memory, shared and grow people, conveying their ideas and thoughts.
The crowds that flock on the screen seems to go beyond it, to step into the audience. Here I see the link between cinema and photography.

GM, I tried, and now look forward to the "version" of the author.
Replacement embrace
Paola

I really like the profile of the cloth which, with its shadows and lights, draws the 'old' 35 mm film, our unforgotten love.

I've come up with something else. It strikes me that the crowd flees, it is argued, pushing, crowding. Someone falls into a black hole. I can think of migrants and their boats. The windows of the houses overlooking another crowd, spectators looking without moving, or indifferent judges, what is happening before their eyes. Then there's the crowd of spectators outside the screen, from which there are two large shadows that give me the idea to reflect on what they are seeing and to communicate their thoughts. Then there is the point of view of the projectionist (the photographer), which records all

It 'been said that every picture "of expression" has many interpretations as there are people who look at it. This is mine.

Everyone we "read" something and it is a great thing because there is to "read" in this shot.
To me it seemed like a poster with which it advertises a movie, hanging the streets of the city.
You guys, but not a modern film, a film in black and white 50s maybe the great Fellini. And if you please.
Big Gio '- ;-)

A beautiful and interesting test, which motivates me because I too would go towards the same direction. The guessed rather than the detail, which often becomes tinsel. Thanks, George.
