,

Hello Claudio,
thank you very much!
This is one of those pictures at the end, having to keep costs down, I have not printed but I have to say I'm sorry.

In my shots of this kind is always present a certain amount of pages that I try to use to reach the final results as I propose.
First you take iportante already with an idea to start with much of the work already done.
Honestly, I have no method and no secret: I open the file, and contrast levels was added and then, if the shot makes me think of some ideas, I get carried away by '"inspiration" (with the utmost respect of a term so high but still need to make the idea ..) and try to use the few tools I know to get as close as possible to the result that more than satisfies me.
To tell you do not even know how to use layers .... I often use while dodging and burning selectively on certain areas, brightness andcontrast, the selective adjustment of the various colors, etc. .. etc ...
It 'something that I can not explain why every time a process is spontaneous ..

Soon I should do an evening with some photographers have asked me to show him how to do so since they are also profesisonisti I'll try to make an instant local mind ..

What I will continue to say is that I do not think eisiste an absolute method but you have to work from time to time depending on the result that inspires FOTOE their liking without the fear of making a mistake because you can seprate start over .. .. ;-)
If you and I take pictures of the same subject, we would probably two different shots as composition, depth of head etc ... the same thing with PS, even space for personalization is even wider .....
L 'is important not to be afraid to pursue their own ideas which may not be shared bybut for all that they are always the best choice.

Memy, you and I could teach a course in Photoshop no layers! :-DA I like to paint and use the muouse to do it, at least I try ...:-D
The question arises: work with a tablet?
I forgot, I agree with Claudio, really bad photo, ... cut the wall in the foreground that breaks one of the two subjects from behind, too much air above your head! :-D ...... A look that will catch you and asks you, reveals the harsh conditions of life of these people.
"Wells Singers" so called because they work by lifting the buckets to give the rhythm, sing.
Reminds me of the black slaves in the cotton fields, the series: what it 'born Blues! E 'is ... Photo tears! ;-)

Yes, like you I use various ways to get to what I want but many times ruin tutto.Soprattutto when it comes to running the lights, I lose that effect of dimensionality 'and the nuances between colors are always too brusche.Riesci omogeni to create contrasts between them without noise, maintaining their always very clear, it seems that the colors "blend in" with each other so perfetto.Non've never used dodging and burning, I felt a very invasive but evidently managed as must be good risultati.Ciao Memy, inboccallupo for the show, I'll 'definitely see her, I do not know when, but as I understand the exposure lasts two months and I'll find' definitely tempo.Ciao!

Hello Memy ... seen that so far have received only "critical" (go to trust friends ... ;-)) I will do you a lot of compliments: it's a really beautiful picture and so intense: the eyes, the beads of sweat, the setting almost monochrome you have succeeded perfectly.

This is the comment I also, occasionally interrupting the steps because they seem monotonous and biased. Great good time
and great job, hello Memy ...

Max57 2 Claudio, I'm sorry that you enjoyed it! :-)
Thanks Eca! x Luckily there's someone who appreciates ..........

Max57, now thought to be one of the last rhyming not to use layers! Uitlizzo the mouse, the mousepad even worse .... but I want to take the tablet grfica because they would work 10 voltemeglio!

If you make a mistake during the various attempts there is no problem because you do not break anything, it 's important to try to find your key ...
IF you want to come you're welcome and I'd love to be ..

Quansi surely we will be a Sunday lunch with photographers and travelers who want to come; chiarmanete is the 'right opportunity for those who will not eat ..

Apart from the subject of color in the foreground have been able to stand out very well, the composition I find it well balanced with the other young black blur in the background, I think the tap flash you gave helped you a lot; Great beautiful picture;

Thank you and Mauro Gil!

The flash is not the 'I used (who knows me knows that I am against .......): the light was great in brine and tried to exploit the better with some changes in the following pages ....

Compliments. A photo that illustrates very well the tragic social and economic reality of these populations for which count the basics (food, water ...) that we take for granted always. Invites us to think!

Thank you very much Mark
actually the Borana have harsh living conditions, probably impossible for us to always strive for the 'water, but fortunately I did not get the' feeling of being in pain or being sick ....
