Fabio great meeting and complimented the story that makes you to enjoy all the emotions of those moments almost as if we were there with you! The emotion must have been enormous also because I see the shooting data that you took to ISO8000 and f11 that probably were the parameters suitable for the shots to thrush. You could have come down with the ISO and set the aperture to f8 light that you had anyway but I think that in a moment like that you make it hard to be vermente transparencies. See you soon, Ivan

Beautiful story but mostly wonderful meeting. And the photos that we propose is not at all bad for a subject so incredibly close (net of technical comments). Congratulations !!

Meet and perilous close!
Too bad the picture has a problem (the whole series), maybe you can fix in PP, it would be worth the money. In any case, congratulations and healthy envy!

I know how it feels to experience it firsthand. I think that a meeting with the Apennine wolf is worth much more than a meeting with the wolves of the lands of Alaska or Yellowstone, both for their rarity as for their elusiveness. Great story, and nice pictures, if you think the emotion you felt when shooting. ;-)

Ivanmazzon, Marcom, Pinnabianca, CADL Amariei Alex and I'm very pleased that you enjoyed also the four lines that introduce the photos and, believe me, it went just as described in the story. It was a great and unexpected stroke of luck. Only the smell of broom and honeysuckle was an optional extra: -D. Thanks to all of the comments and the transition.
