#BiancoeNero #BlackAndWhite #HDR #Geomorfologia

Piergiovanni: Thank you all for the appreciation! :-)

The "message" (maybe) is easy to share ... but I have not published the photo sapendola easy success! I also expect a judgment on photography and in particular on the post: do you communicate comprehensively as reported in the caption?
Unlike certain landscapes sweets where a certain glow there may be, here I wanted to exaggerate the detail on the mountain and through the dam tonemapping two shots and with increasing contrast. The holes, discharges, the service road, the dam and other infrastructure seen as injuries to the nature ...

The shot did so even manages to have an effect "symbolic": dam that is foreign to the natural "rude" of the mountain, that ferisce..Una radiograph of pain, with the possibility of going beyond, watching the horizon and the clouds, and that at one step even more extreme could be cut ..

Piergiovanni: It is true, I sought an effect "symbolic", something scratchy ... And the clouds are the only thing soft. I could cut over to where the line side of the mountain to the left ... but then I did not know where to put the signature:-)
You have an eye "good", with further comment. Hello!

Roberto: Glad you enjoyed. :-)
A salutone.

an image that screams all the pain of the mountain to which man has inflicted incurable wounds. The two sides of the mountains united by dam assume the likeness of his face now scarniti that show their sorrow for the abuse suffered by the human hand, conveying a strong sense of concern. I think you've made good the drama of the place also giving an appropriate title. Serve certain "genes" for future projects?
Very good document.

Great photo !! ;-)
..bel document of a place where time stands still and the pain of an announced tragedy is still breathed.
I've been in those places several times. Impressive impenetrable silence that has remained in the valley since those days.

It 's true, a place where time stands still. He did not stop, however, the waving of 487 colored flags in remembrance of the "Angels" of the tragedy.

will serve to certain "genes" for future achievements?
... hopefully ... hopefully. A greeting :-)

Pietro Is true, especially in the area near the dam there may also be the most beautiful colors of spring, but there is always something spooky hovering ... With the appreciation! Hello :-)

Hello, just a week ago, I was visiting this place of tragedy.
I think your shot accurately reflects what you have exposed .. when I saw the dam from Longarone, in the gorge in the mountains took my anxiety .. and I think you in this shot he managed to give this feeling perfectly.
I'll just have one question technical / practical .. but where did you go to be able to portray the dam from that view?

Simone Hoods (llini): the appreciation and thanks for the compliment. Be able to pass on my mood I'm very pleased, it did not mean that "center"!
The PDR: climbing from Spar is a series of tunnels near the end ... well, the way out by yet another tunnel curve left as to circumvent the ridge. Here, I climbed over the guardrail and fencing (not to do, not to do!) And I was positioned on the extreme edge of the terrace: 250 to 300 meters below. impressive jump !!

and in fact there is no place to stop as the road is narrow and you switch to alternating one-way. In fact they got up to walk there from the end of the tunnels ;-) ;-)

First I looked at the picture, then read the caption.
Just view the image those streams that come from the dam, made in a way so "dense" I have appeared as the last trickles of blood of a dead body, stripped, almost "hot" ... the impression I got is a shot made a few hours after the tragedy ... gave me the impression that the tragedy had just consumed.

Maje, thanks for your comment !!
I admit that reading it I got goose bumps.
Total share!
This thing happened when I was 11. I was left like a nail driven into the mind. And then I'll tell you a detail heard on the radio in those days (it is verifiable if you want) and the years have failed to erase from my mind: downstream of the village of Longarone, the following day on a bridge on the river Piave not know exactly where the alpine military sided with long wooden poles intercepted and they recovered the bodies of the dead that the river current is carried downstream ...
Tremendous.

A salutone.
